Disassemble it Yourself Noobz

Not just for beginners. Today I took apart this guy. This is a Noobz from Blizzard. It's a pretty cool toy, but it's toys like this that inspired this series.

First off, I used a blow dryer to soften up the joints then pulled them out. It took less than five minutes to do. Looking at the mushroom sockets afterwards; I would definitely trim them before reattaching.

After taking this guy apart around some sockets were globs of greasy goo. I'm not sure if it was mold release or due to the tight sockets the manufacturer had to lube them up before putting them together. Definitely creates the cause to wash them before working on them though.

His space suit looks amazing under the sunlight of the dead star in the Kcelboo galaxy and black lights here on planet Earth. He will be on sale on etsy soon enough. Gomez from Mystery Island

It all started with this TOBY HK piece bought really cheap.

It ends with a monster over a cubic foot in size.

One day I'll create a really awesome story for it.

It looks like fishmen

This was a piece for a Christmas show. The show was called "Old Friends" and was the inspiration came from childhood toys. When I was a kid I grew up watching all the 80's cartoons that were nothing more than 22 minute toy commercials. Mer-Man was my favorite character from the He-Man series. Here he is captured on a seven inch Munny.

This guy is on to greener pastures, he was put up and won in a  raffle to benefit Feeding America.

B E H O L D !

Jimmy got a Beholder suit for Christmas too. He also grew a few inches too.

Viva de los diablo!

Looks like Jimmy got himself a devil suit for Christmas.

Mr. Red

Taking the bonsai idea to the Mega Munny stage. However, if I scaled the tree with the munny then it would cease to be a bonsai. I abstracted the tree in a fashion to make it look like a tree from Dr. Seuss.

Rompu

We have: mini, Regular and MEGA!
My sushi loving character in three various sizes.

Regular is still under construction.

The Mega is still under construction (I'm glad he didn't sell last week) it's time to take advantage of the that huge head.

The Promo Over There

I thought I'd post the two promotional pieces that I made for a local shop. They will be having a show in August and I'll promote it where I can. Until then, enjoy! One is inspired by my childhood love of Bomberman and the other is not. Yes, that is a real arcade button...
